Description
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are naturally derived, lipid bilayer-enclosed particles released by cells. EVs have been shown to play a major role in regulating physiological and pathological diseased conditions by facilitating intercellular communication. EVs can be isolated from most cells and used for a variety of therapeutic or diagnostic applications. They carry diverse cargo including RNAs, proteins, and lipids derived from their parental cells. JOT-CAV-EV-02-01 consist of highly purified population of EVs purified from curacao aloe vera displaying a size distribution ranging from ~50-250 nm). These EVs underwent a rigorous purification workflow that ensures the absence of co-elutants and impurities such as lipoproteins or serum proteins.
