Description
The EVfect transfection kit is specifically designed to load nucleic acids into pre-purified extracellular vesicles at high efficiency. This kit has been validated for the delivery of a wide range of nucleic acids including anti-sense oligonucleotides (ASOs), siRNA, miRNA, mRNA, and plasmid DNA in both in vitro and in vivo settings. It involves a simple 40-minute protocol and does not involve the use of liposomal reagents or induce the formation of micelles, facilitating convenient and reproducible re-purification of loaded EVs. This ensures that cellular delivery and any subsequent functional effects observed are contributed by EV-mediated delivery and not via co-purification of liposomal complexes or residual transfectant.
