EVSafe Storage Buffer

Description

EVSafe Storage Buffer is formulated with a combination of potent cryoprotectants and lyoprotectants that help to maintain EV integrity and biological activity while improving EV recovery during freezing. EVSafe storage buffer facilitates >95% recovery of EVs after freezing and allows EVs to be frozen and thawed multiple times without significant loss of biological activity or integrity. The components of this buffer have been carefully selected to be compatible with downstream EV experiments and do not include cell membrane-permeating reagents, protein-based cryoprotectants, synthetic polymers, lipid-based molecules or organic solvents. All the components in the storage buffer can be readily removed with a single centrifugation step (or any equivalent EV purification approach). This buffer is formulated as a 10X buffer for ease of use, allowing it to be readily added to pre-purified EV suspensions or EV containing media or biofluids. EV suspensions can be immediately frozen at -80C upon addition.
