Description

JOT-FLUO488-HRBCEV consists of fluorescently pre-labelled highly purified population of EVs purified from human red blood cells displaying a homogenous size distribution ranging from ~50-250 nm). These EVs were purified from pre-isolated red blood cells and have undergone a rigorous purification workflow that ensures the absence of co-elutants and impurities such as lipoproteins or serum proteins. The labelling procedure is highly homogenous and stably installs fluorophores of choice (compatible with Alexa Fluor® 430, 488, 561, 594, 647 channels) on the surface of EVs. These EVs can be utilized as a fluorescent standard for nanoparticles or used to track EV uptake into cells in in vitro or in vivo settings using flow cytometry, immunofluorescent imaging, IVIS or other fluorescent-based detection methods. The dyes used to label the RBCEVs are fixable, highly photostable and can be detected with high sensitivity.
