Description
The SR-1D polyclonal antibody targets one of the multiple receptors responsible for binding 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone serving as a neurotransmitter, hormone, and mitogen. The receptor’s functionality is regulated by G proteins that suppress adenylate cyclase activity. It is classified as a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
